Statement Fred Zoz

Bonjour à tous,

The period of summer competitions is coming soon and now we are all eager to be there! But therfore, we have done a really nice starting to prepare as well as possible the Grand Prix and the rest of the summer!

The first camp took place in Corsica with all the French athletes who are supposed to be qualified for the Olympics in Vancouver for all the disciplines (ice skating, boblseigh, cross country, alpine skiing, biathlon snowboard, nordic combined etc..). The goal was mainly to meet the others athletes and make a nice physical preparation with nice happyness in a wonderfull place! For the activites, kayak, jetski, windsurf, diving, tennis, quad, beach volley...into the sunlight with 30° and blue sky, we could not expect better for start!

We started jumping begining of june in Courchevel as usually, with the idea to put in the team our two best junior, Alexandre Mabboux and Nicolas Mayer with Manu Chedal, Vincent Descombes Sevoie and David Lazzaroni! We did a camp there for a week, and the whole june has been really promising with jumping & physical level for all the guys!

Then the last training camp, from 1st july to 10th was in Kuopio, since 3 years now we used to go there and we 're almost at home in this place! We organised this time a camp with French Nordic Combined team, that was perfect: 10 frenchs athletes (5 jumpers + 5 NC), with some Finnish, Japanese & Norvegian jumpers & Estonian nordic combiner! As usually for the program, mainly ski jumping, physical trainings, but also boat trip and beach volley tournament ! So once again, a nice training camp...

Next step for us will be the next week in Hinterzarten for the last training camp before the SGP, from tuesday to friday, and last preparation with a national competiton in Courchevel on K90m "Mémorial Regis Bajard" on saturday, then guys (and coaches ;-) will have a break to charge the battery and Rock the hill on 8th of august!

Thanks all for your support, Keep in touch.
